When I started Plush Jewellery, it wasn’t because I wanted to create more jewellery.
It was because I wanted to change how jewellery fits into our lives.

Growing up, jewellery always came with instructions.
Wear it carefully. Save it for special occasions. Put it back safely.

And while those pieces were beautiful, they were rarely lived in.

I kept asking myself—
Why should something so beautiful be worn so rarely?

The Old Way of Wearing Jewellery

For a long time, jewellery was about moments—big ones. Weddings. Festivals. Celebrations.

Heavy designs. Precious materials. High emotional and financial value.

But that also meant:

• Jewellery stayed locked away most days
• Wearing it came with worry
• Beauty was reserved for “someday”

Luxury felt distant.

I noticed something important:

That’s when everyday luxury started to make sense to me.
